The Tel Aviv Marina, offering water sports and professional instruction, is next to Gordon Beach, as is the newly-renovated, saltwater-filled Gordon Swimming Pool. Further south of Piso Livadi, there are more lovely beaches including Golden Beach. Piso Livadi lies 17 kilometers southeast of Parikia and the bus journey takes 30 minutes. There are a couple of beach tavernas with sunbeds and umbrellas, that you can use if you buy drinks or a meal ( the seafood is particularly good) and there are some trees providing shade too. Piso Livadi is a pretty fishing village with a lovely sandy beach. Further along the beach, it is quiet and peaceful, with trees bordering the sand and providing a little shade. One part of the beach has sunbeds, umbrellas, and tavernas, with some water sports and children’s inflatable toys. The beach is sandy with lovely shallow water making it ideal for families. Livadia Beach is situated 700 meters from Parikia harbor so is just a ten-minute walk. The beach is unorganized so bring your own sun umbrella if you have one and be sure to stock up on snacks and drinks though there is a traditional Greek taverna close by – just be careful to watch out for the mini tsunamis caused by the high-speed ferries that pass by… you don’t want to lose a flip-flop or get a soaking wet beach towel! 11. 17km from Parikia and 12km from Naoussa, Kalogeros Beach is an unspoiled natural spa thanks to the mix of sand and reddish clay, many visitors use this opportunity to give themselves a DIY therapeutic mud bath. This small and secluded wild rugged bay close to Molos on the East coast of Paros is a bit of a hidden gem, accessible via a picturesque dirt road that passes by a cedar forest. If you prefer your beaches to be quieter and less crowded, just walk to the far end, away from the club and bars or visit outside of the peak Summer season when you’ll have the place almost to yourself. Located 7.5km South-East of Parikia, this clean sandy beach can be accessed by car or public bus and has a selection of tavernas/beach bars with a cheaper mini market a 10minute walk away.
